"Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing."  De. 7:26.  If you bring a cursed object into your house, it will bring curses to the house and invite evil spirits and ghosts.  It is an abomination to God and may bring sicknesses, mishaps, nocturnal visitors and bondage.  Get rid of the cursed object and repent before God.

Cursed objects include occult articles, hexagrams, satanic symbols, witchcraft articles, idols, dolls, etc.  Dungeons and Dragons, lucky charms, porno collections, Ouija boards, I-Ching, occult books, smurf dolls, cabbage patch dolls, rocks, paintings of dragons, altars, masonic lodge emblems, statues of Buddhas, Kwan Yin, Shiva, Charms, statues, altars, pictures, frogs (Rev. 16:13), owls (Is. 13:21; De. 14:15,16), animals such as temple dogs, aumakua, shark, lizard, snake.  Whenever God allows us to cleanse a house, the first thing we do is go through the premises and throw out any cursed objects.  People have gotten sick because of it.  A woman from Vancouver, Canada, claimed that when she comes to Hawaii, she can sleep for 10 hours.  At home, she could not sleep.  As she was speaking, the Lord gave me a vision of a painting with a mother of pearl dragon on a black velvet background.  Turns out that the woman was originally from Korea and two years previous had purchased such a painting on a visit back home.  It hung right above her headboard.  When she got rid of the painting, she could sleep well.  Demons had been harassing her.

In another case, a fellow pastor was at home alone when he heard noises in his daughter's room.  He walked down the hallway and stood in front of the closed door and could hear voices, as if a party was going on.  He abruptly opened the door and turned the light on.  On his daughter's bed were about fifty dolls staring at him.  He grabbed the dolls and made a pile of them in the front yard, poured gasoline on the pile and lighted a match.  As the dolls burned, he could hear screams.

If you are not sure about an object, pray about it.  However, it is better to be safe than sorry.  Throw it away.  Sometimes a person cannot be delivered because there are things in the house that hold him in bondage.  If circumstances permit, I instruct people that come in for deliverance to rid their homes of any cursed objects.  Otherwise, demons have a right to oppress and cannot be kicked out.
